Hat Ordering and Shipping

HAT ORDERING and SHIPPING INFORMATION

If you would like to place a MAGGIE MAE DESIGNS® hat order please email Sally or call her at 774-316-4977 for all of the hat ordering and shipping information you will need. Be ready to provide your UPS shipping address in order to receive a complete order total inclusive of shipping/handling charges. Please see information below for payment options.

Prices on all MAGGIE MAE DESIGNS® products are subject to change without notice.

HAT PAYMENT OPTIONS

We do not accept credit cards or Paypal.

A personal check or bank cashier’s check in U.S. dollars made out to “MAGGIE MAE DESIGNS®” is requested for payment. Please mail it to: MAGGIE MAE DESIGNS®, P.O. Box 2826, Orleans, MA 02653. We also accept bank wire transfers from your U.S. bank. Please email Sally for details.

Upon receipt of payment your order will be created and then shipped upon completion. Please note: sending your payment overnight/express mail or using the bank wire transfer option will expedite your order.

HAT SHIPPING/HANDLING

Freight, insurance, and packing fee are charged to the customer. Shipping is generally with UPS unless other arrangements are made.

Creation of your lovely hat begins once payment is received. Non-rush orders take between 3-6 weeks from receipt of payment to the point of shipping unless other arrangements are made. Custom hat orders, bridal hat orders and Derby hat orders generally take 4-8 weeks to complete and then ship. This time frame will change as the volume of hat orders increases during the Derby and wedding seasons. For last-minute or rush orders, additional charges and expedited UPS shipping charges may need to be applied in order to ensure timely delivery of your order. So please place your hat orders early!

RUSH ORDERS

If you need a hat quickly, please ask for rush order charges. Charges are determined based on the needed date for delivery and may include expedited UPS services. If you have a rush order and there isn’t adequate time for a personal check to clear, we also accept wire transfers from your U.S. bank. Please email Sally for details. Sending your rush order payment via Express Mail or via bank wire transfer will ensure a faster creation and shipping process.

Please note: There are no returns on Rush Order items or on any Rush Order charges.

DAMAGE AS A RESULT OF SHIPPING

Each MAGGIE MAE DESIGNS® product is created and shipped with great care, and is also fully insured. When your shipment arrives and if the shipping box is badly damaged you have two options. If you choose to refuse the shipment, please call Sally at 774-316-4977 or email Sally right away. MAGGIE MAE DESIGNS® will then file the appropriate damage report once the hat is returned to the MAGGIE MAE DESIGNS® studio. If you choose to accept the damaged package, you are then responsible for contacting the delivery provider yourself regarding the damage that occurred due to shipment and filing your own damage report. From that point on, Sally will remain in close contact with you to see that the matter is resolved.

HAT ALTERATIONS

Should there be a need for sizing alterations on your hat after delivery, please note that charges for alterations are determined on an individual basis. All shipping charges are the responsibility of the customer. Please ship your hat in its original container and original shipping materials to ensure its safe travel.

CUSTOM HATBOXES

A free custom hat box is included with any MAGGIE MAE DESIGNS® hat that sells for $298.00 or more. Hatboxes are available for sale solely for hats created and sold at MAGGIE MAE DESIGNS®.
