The Rosemarie hat design
The Rosemarie is a wide brim hat created in white dupioni silk.
A large rose in alternating layers of fuchsia silk organza and dupioni silk adorns the front of the hat.
A medley of green silk leaves frames the rose. A sash created out of fuchsia dupioni silk encircles the crown of the hat.
Layers of white tulle surround the crown, spilling over the brim edges. A medium length tulle train down the back adds a truly elegant touch! (Please note: the tulle train can be created to any length desired.)
Finally, a large clear rhinestone button with a silver setting adorns the sash in the back.
A winter white brocade lines this hat to honor Rosie Napravnik’s own retired Thoroughbred racehorse, Sugar. The lining itself is personally signed by Rosie!
The finished Rosemarie design measures approximately 19 inches end to end.
