Plum Purple Poppy fascinator
The Plum Purple Poppy fascinator by MAGGIE MAE DESIGNS® is a playful teardrop design inspired by Sally’s love of poppies. She created the fascinator in plum dupioni silk and lined it with royal purple silk.
Three poppy flowers with topstitched orchid silk organza petals and royal purple rose curl centers form the centerpiece of the design. Carefully handstitched together, they gently curve and cascade all the way down the teardrop.
A medley of mixed plum dupioni silk leaves with royal purple silk linings frames each poppy. For added detail and color blend, each poppy is topstitched with purple and orchid thread.
Triple bead loops adorn the center rose of each flower in fluorescent shades of purple, soft pink and metallic turquoise.
A medley of royal purple and orchid silk organza feathers in varying sizes accents the floral elements. Thin orchid silk organza “spirals” lend one final touch of elegant whimsy to this millinery piece that seems ready to dance at a moment’s notice!
