Cantonese Rose Cocktail Hat

The Cantonese Rose cocktail hat by MAGGIE MAE DESIGNS® is a lively, colorful design perfect for a variety of occasions. It was created in fuchsia dupioni silk lined with bright berry dupioni silk. Sally’s love for the delicate, vibrant rose patterns on china rose plates from the Canton region inspired this design.

The centerpiece of the design is a large floral trim with fuchsia, rose pink and citrus orange silk organza petals and a juicy orange dupioni silk rose curl center. A handcrafted button featuring metallic pink and fuchsia berry beads draws the eye to the center of the rose.

A medley of large orange dupioni silk leaves frames the layered flower petals, adding exquisite balance to the design.

Tiny fuchsia silk organza leaves on stems add a bit of “bounce” to this playful design.

And a stylized bow created in fuchsia pink adorns the back seam, making this a hat that looks great from every angle.
