The Cerillos Turquesa top hat by MAGGIE MAE DESIGNS® is a design glistening in green turquoise dupioni silk with fuchsia dupioni silk lining.
The name of this hat honors Cerillos, New Mexico. Cerillos, located at the edge of the Sandia Mountains is a picturesque village known for its beautiful turquoise.
A single large rose curl in alternating layers of deep fuchsia-berry dupioni silk and rose pink silk organza is the centerpiece of this design.
A triple loop ornament of turquoise seed beads and fuchsia glass beads adds a luxurious element to this stunning centerpiece.
Scrumptious turquoise dupioni silk leaves and nine fuchsia-berry silk organza feathers frame the rose.
A fuchsia silk sash surrounds the crown, and a layer of rose hat veiling overlays the entire hat.
For the back seam, Sally handcrafted a sparkling “jewel” from berry pink glass beads, turquoise seed beads and green metallic beads. It is one more reminder of the picturesque village of Cerillos at the edge of the Sandia mountain range.
